The Gift of Chess Hosts Global “Chess is Art” Show in the Heart of Times Square, NYC

In heart of Times Square, The Gift of Chess hosted, The “Chess is Art” global art showcase, celebrating over 80 artists from across the world in an evening of celebration.

Over the past year, we created an open call to action for artists from across the world to submit their art to be highlight in Time Square, NYC, elevating the global mission of The Gift of Chess to expand opportunities and build communities from the distribution of 1 million chess sets across the world.

The response was incredible, with art being submitted from across the world including incredible submissions from prions and IDP camps.
