Kenyan Chess Prodigy, Kyke Kuka Trains in NYC as part of our newly launched International Chess Excellence Exchange Program.

Kuka Kyle, a 15 year old Kenyan chess prodigy, is in NYC to train at the Elite Training Camp held in Times Square. Kyle who recently took 2nd place at the Kenyan National Chess Championship will compete in two rated games per day along with direct coaching and lessons from Grandmaster Alex Lenderman.

Kyle has qualified to represent Kenya at the Chess Olympiad in September held in Uzbekistan. The Elite Summer Training Camp in NYC, will be instrumental in his preparation.

Starting the Summer of 2027, The Gift of Chess will be expanding access to our Times Square Elite Training Camps through our newly announced Chess Excellence Exchange Program. Each summer The Gift of Chess will sponsor top talent from across our global network to train and compete alongside our top USA players in the heart of Times Square, NYC.
